Milford Sound
Described as the 'eighth wonder of the world', Milford Sound is a fiord that was carved by glaciers during the ice ages, therefore formed the dramatic tall and sharp cliff edges along the river. It is as spectacular as you would see in photos, if not even more so in real life. Take a cruise to get extremely close to the two permanent magnificent waterfalls, on a rainy day there will be thousands of little waterfalls streaming down the cliff, trust me it was quite a sight. If you are lucky you may also spot native seals and dolphins swimming alongside your boats.
